This dashboard shows company’s sales by region, product to customer, customer to product & sales analysis, month wise.

If you track the conversion rate by team, you’ll be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the sales process. The purpose of this dashboard is to show sales credibility & enhance management visibility.

There are several ways in which you can visualize sales data to understand the market trends and sales performance. In the month of October, Excel Forum team launched a dashboard competing in which you are asked to visualize data using sample data. The challenge has generated a huge thrill around the community and has fetched 118 incredible entries.

Thanks everyone for participating and making it a huge learning experience for everyone. Excel Forum team has learned several dashboard and charting tricks.

In this article, we will show you the steps to create this dashboard.

Let us see how the Dashboard made by Varison looks:
We have divided this dashboard into 6 sections of information. Let us take a look at each one separately.


This section shows sales by product, region, sales person & customer type. There are these table and chart that are quite interactive and are linked through dropdown list.

The picture below shows quarterly sales by product and region and is linked through a dropdown list. On the selection of any region, the related information will be updated dynamically.

The following picture shows total sales in percentage
Using this dashboard, you can get a clear view of the Sales industry and the information from various points of view.
