I was wondering if there is anyway to create an if statement where if a number comes out to be within a given range, a particular "letter grade" is assigned to it. Please help me out.

I created an attendance sheet in Excel. I want to sum up attendance if a is absent and l is Leave, p is Present then I want to count each type in a different cell. Can you please help me with this?
