PHI Function
Excel 2013 has given us a new function i.e., PHI.
PHI function returns the value of the density function for a standard normal distribution.
Syntax:-
=PHI(x)
where x is the number for which you need the density of standard normal distribution
Example:- The denisty of standard normal distribution for 0.5 is 0.352065 and can be obtained as :-
= PHI ( 0.5 )
which will fetch 0.352065
Note:-You will get #NUM! error if x is an invalid numeric value and you might get #VALUE! error if x is a non-numeric value such as text / signs etc.
