Add Developer Tab in Excel

In this article, we will learn about how to show the Developer tab in ribbons of Microsoft Excel. We use the Developer tab to create the Macros, export and import XML files or insert controls.

To turn on the Excel Developer tab, follow below given steps:-

  • Open Excel Workbook.

  • Go to the File tab.

  • Click on the options.

  • Excel options dialog box will appear.

  • Go to Customize Ribbon.

  • Excel options dialog box will appear.

  • Click on the Developer tab.

  • Click on OK.
  • The Developer tab will get added in the main ribbon.

  • You can use the Developer tab any time to write the Macros.
