How to use TRUE function in Microsoft Excel

 

In this article, we will learn how to use TRUE function in Microsoft Excel.

In Excel, TRUE function helps to return a logical value of TRUE.

We can directly type the word TRUE onto the worksheet or as function without taking any argument in it.

Let’s take an example to understand:-

  • In cell A8, we’ll type TRUE function
  • Then hit tab to autocomplete the function and as we can see that this function does not take any argument, we close the parentheses and hit enter
  • Function returns the Boolean value TRUE

We can avoid typing the parentheses if we want the function to return TRUE. So as soon as we complete the name of the function, we can hit enter and then also the function returns TRUE.
