» Summing Positive and Negative Numbers Separately

Problem:

Calculating separate totals for the negative numbers and the positive numbers in List1 (column A).

Solution:

Use the SUMIF function as shown in following formulas:
To sum negative numbers:
=SUMIF(A2:A7,"<0")
To sum positive numbers:
=SUMIF(A2:A7,">0")
