Sometimes you may need to select some non-adjacent cells to either clear the contents or format in a particular way.

To select a range of non-adjacent cells:

1. Select cell A1, and press Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow.
2. Continue holding down Ctrl, and select another range.
3. Select additional ranges while continuing to press Ctrl.

Countif & Average functions fail
morlock  Posted on: 31-12-1969
Neither function calculates a nonsequential range. They can be entered in a cell as Ctl Shift Enter "array" functions, but still yield a #VALUE! error msg in the cell.

Monthly averaging, a fundamental ledger value, is unavailable as a consequence of this MicroSoft corner cutting its quality control.
