Using keyboard shortcuts

To select all sheet cells:
In Excel 97, 2000 and 2002, press Ctrl+A.
In Excel 2003, select a cell in a blank range area and press Ctrl+A. When selecting a cell in the Current Region/List range area, press Ctrl+A+A.

A note to Excel developers:
When selecting the Current Region in Excel 2003 using Ctrl+A, the active cell remains the same; however, by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+* keyboard shortcut, the active cell is the first cell in the selected range.

Using the mouse
Click Select All at the top-left corner of the sheet.
