When using the list option in Data Validation, how does one get it to show only unique values from the reference range?Reply: Unique values in validation lists - Vikram from Bangalore,India wrote on August 8, 2003 8:35 AM EST

Hi Vikram,
I don't think you can directly (happy for someone to prove me wrong on that though!)
However, you could create a new range, or defined name, that only contains the unique entries from the 'master' range once each and use that in the data validation reference.
Hope that helps,
Alan.
