inserting a line between lines in a single column

Excel can be used to build tables and work on them like word with txt wrapping etc., but is there a way where we can insert a blank line in the same column where a long sentence is typed. This causes more readability and even reduces the usage of word, as excel we have excellent formulas to work with, and we can continuously work on it.
