1. Select cell A1 in the sheet, and insert the current date by pressing Ctrl+; and press Ctrl+Enter.
2. Press Ctrl+1, select the Number tab, and then select Custom.
3. Clear the Type box.
4. Enter the date format in the Type box, based on to the list of symbols below:
