Problem:

Calculating the number of hours between Date1 (A2) and Date2 (B2), excluding weekends.

Solution:

Use the NETWORKDAYS and MOD functions as shown in the following formula:
=NETWORKDAYS(A2,B2)-1-MOD(A2,1)+MOD(B2,1)
