1. In the Formula Bar, type an equals (=) sign.
2. Type the numbers to multiply, for example, 9*5.
3. Press F9 to calculate and convert the formula to a value.
4. Press Ctrl+Enter to prevent moving down to the next cell. The value displayed in the cell is 45.
