To create a hyperlink for a file path and name (for example), enter the following text in cell A1: c:\ExcelTip\tips.xls

In cell A2, enter the following formula to create the hyperlink: =HYPERLINK(A1)

This is really a useless hyperlink. What happens is that you paste in their website, and then you paste in the second part, and the word "Latest" comes up. No clue how to do it still.

thanks, are importing a comma delimited file with desription and filenames in it. (about 1000)

have put the excel file and all the images onto a cd. with the hyperlink can easily open the file from the spreadsheet, thanks!
