» Limiting the Movement in a Protected Sheet

To limit the movement in a protected sheet:

1. Click the Properties icon .
OR
From the Control Toolbox toolbar, click the Properties icon.
2. There are three options in EnableSelection:
xlNoRestrictions: In a protected sheet, selection is allowed for both locked and unlocked cells.
xlUnLockedCells: In a protected sheet, selection is allowed for unlocked cells only (in the screenshot below a cell containing a formula cannot be selected).
xlNoSelection: In a protected sheet, selection is not allowed for either locked or unlocked cells.
