» PivotTable report - Inserting a Chart
CATEGORY - Excel Pivot Tables
VERSION - All Microsoft Excel Versions
In Excel 2000, 2002 and 2003, check the PivotChart report option button in
Step 1 of 3.
The Chart is automatically linked to the PivotTable report and displays the field structure.
To insert a Chart after the PivotTable report is created, in all Excel versions:
Select a cell in the PivotTable report, and then press F11.
Note to Excel 97 users:
In Excel 97, the PivotTable report is treated like a regular table. By changing the structure of the PivotTable report, you will cause undesired changes in the chart. To solve this problem, use only one PivotTable report per chart, and add more PivotTables for each chart .
