Using keyboard shortcutsTo copy and paste cells to another sheet:
1. Select a range of cells that contains data.
2. Press and hold Ctrl+Alt and drag the data from the corner of the selection area to a new location in another sheet.
To move cells to another sheet:
1. Select a range of cells that contains data.
2. Press and hold Alt and drag the data from the corner of the selection area to a new location in another sheet.
To copy/move cells to another workbook:
1. From the Windows menu, choose Arrange.
2. Select any of the Arrange Windows options and click OK.
In Excel 2003, use Compare Side by Side to arrange the windows.
3. Select a range of cells that contains data.
4. Press and hold Ctrl+Alt (to copy) or Alt (to move) and drag the cells to a new locations in a sheet in another workbook.
