Use the format painter to copy column widths and row heights in Microsoft Excel

The format painter can be used not only to copy cell formatting, you can also use the format painter to copy column widths and row heights.

Follow these easy steps:

Highlight the entire column(s) or Row(s) you want to copy then click the Format Painter toolbar button.

Select another column letter or row number on the frame and the column width/row height will copy over.
