Quickly Entering a Web Site address Email Address or Company Name in Excel 2007


To replace a short text with a long text or with a phrase, use the AutoCorrect feature:

1. Select File -> Excel Options -> Proofing -> Auto Correct Options.
2. In the Replace box, type et, and in the With box, type www.exceltip.com.
3. Click OK.
4. Type the text et in any cell and press Enter.
5. The text www.exceltip.com immediately appears in the cell.
