Preventing Moving to the Next Cell after Typing in Excel 2007


To prevent moving to the next cell after typing:
Press .
Or
Deselect the Move selection after Enter Direction checkbox, as described below.

To change the move selection after pressing :
1. Select File -> Excel Options -> Advanced -> Editing options section.
2. In After pressing Enter, move selection clear check box, and click OK.
