Friday Humor
A stranger walks into a bar carrying a brown suitcase. He sits down at the
bar and says to the bartender, "If you give me a free shot of whiskey I'll
show you the most amazing thing you've ever seen."
The bartender thinks it over and replies, "Okay, you're on, but this better
be good."
The bartender pours the guy a shot and the stranger quickly downs it. He
then retrieves the suitcase from beside his stool and places it on the bar.
He opens the suitcase and removes a miniature grand piano and piano bench.
He places both on the bar and and then opens a little compartment in the
suitcase. A little man about a foot and a half tall leaps from the
compartment. With a dramatic flourish he seats himself at the piano,
delivers a breathtaking performance of Rachmaninoff's Fourth Piano Concerto,
rises from the bench, bows deeply and leaps back into the suitcase, closing
the lid behind him.
The bartender is initially speechless, but finally is able to say, "You're
absolutely right. That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Where did
you get that little guy?"
"Well," said the stranger, "last summer when I was vacationing in Ireland I
took a hike along a rocky path."
"About an hour into my trek I rounded a corner and found myself face-to face
with a leprachaun who was trying to free his foot from between two rocks."
The leprachaun told me that if I helped him extricate his foot he would
grant me one wish."
"And you wished for an 18-inch pianist?" asked the bartender.
"Well, not exactly," replied the stranger. "You see, the leprachaun was a
little hard of hearing."
