importing records into Excel
I don't know if this is an Excel issue, or an Access (2000) issue.
When I try to export a table or query that has a large number of records
(17,500) using 'Office Links' in Access, the action can not be completed.
I'm given the following error message:
There are too many rows to output, based on the limitation specified by the
output format or by Microsoft Access.
I can't find any settings in Access to change to increase the row output
limitation. I can get around it by using File, Export (although for
queries, I first have to change the query to a Make Table query, and then
export the table).
There's a similar problem exporting data from SPSS using File, Save As -
although some records are exported, but it cuts off at 16,384 rows (16,383
records). I haven't been able to figure out a way around that other than
copying and pasting the variables into Excel.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Ann
